About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Business Partner to join our team at Cobb & Jones Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic commercial influence to our business partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with our Regional Head of Sales to provide regional finance support to a large group of sales colleagues across the business.
  • Financial Analysis: Develop and drive the analysis and understanding of key business initiatives that directly link to our strategic growth pillars.
  • Financial Evaluations: Build and evaluate financial evaluations to ascertain the suitability of new business and focus on margin-impacting activity.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular financial reports and analysis to the Sales and Finance teams, including monthly P&L reviews and quarterly finance performance reviews.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop and manage forecasts, budgets, and flash management, as well as ownership of Workday updates.
  • Team Support: Act as deputy for the Senior Finance Business Partner as required and support the rest of the team with their daily activities, developing new ways of working or simplifying current reporting.
  • Model Development: Develop models to provide insight on key sales and margin information across all commercial teams.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with sales colleagues to ensure that new business proposals are financially viable.
  • Communication: Act as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders for finance-related queries and produce reports/presentations as required to drive business results.
  • Ambassadorship: Act as an ambassador for finance, promoting cross-functional collaboration and understanding.
Requirements

We are looking for a qualified accountant in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA with strong business partnering skills across all levels. You should have the confidence and ability to understand trends and results, as well as a high level of competency in financial analysis and modelling.
