Job Title: Finance Apprentice

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Apprentice to join our team at Culina Group. As a Finance Apprentice, you will play a vital role in supporting our finance department in various tasks, including financial reporting, data entry, budgeting, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into our accounting systems and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Help prepare budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor actual performance against budgets.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, such as managing the central mailbox and responding to queries from the wider business.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs: Must have GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 5 or above.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Learning and Development: Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Professional Attitude: Professional attitude and appearance.
