Dedicated Support Professional for Primary School Pupils

Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and caring Teaching Assistant to work closely with children in years 5 and 6 on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis at a mainstream primary school.
About the Role
- The successful candidate will collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver the primary curriculum, providing support to students with SEMH needs.
- This position involves designing engaging learning environments and working closely with the class teacher to help deliver a specialised curriculum.
- The ideal candidate will have patience, empathy, and resilience, with previous experience working with primary school students or students with SEMH.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Enhanced DBS Certificate and two references required.
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, Psychology degree, or other relevant qualifications are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
