As a key member of the NHS England team, you will play a vital role in leading the delivery of specialty training programs across the region. Your expertise and leadership skills will be instrumental in ensuring that our trainees receive the highest quality education and training, aligned with the NHS England mandate.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the Regional Training Programme, ensuring its alignment with national and local standards.
- Address specialty-specific matters and trainee/trainer concerns, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Lead the recruitment process for training posts and programs, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent.
- Manage postgraduate programs, including assessments, progression, rotations, and support for trainees.
You will work closely with the Postgraduate Dean and Head of School to drive improvement in learner supervision, assessment, and experience. Your ability to engage faculty and ensure effective educational outcomes will be crucial in achieving our goals.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced NHS Consultant with a deep understanding of specialty training across the region. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as you will work effectively as a member of a multi-professional team to drive transformation and excellence in healthcare education.
