About the Job:
We are seeking a Secondary SEND Learning Assistant to join our team at Vision for Education - Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated and supportive team of educators who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The Role:
As a Secondary SEND Learning Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students with SEND, including those with communication challenges, sensory needs, learning difficulties, and other diagnosed conditions. You will work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans, providing one-to-one support and small group interventions to promote academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and preparation
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEND
  • Delivering small group interventions to promote academic and personal growth
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Experience of working with school-aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of Secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team

Salary: £12.82 per hour
