Job Description
As a highly dedicated and committed pastoral team, we are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our expanding SEND team in our growing and thriving Academy.

The successful candidate will have the ability to support students to achieve their full potential by providing targeted support to students within the classroom and SEND Hub, supporting other SEND/SEMH needs and in providing administrative support, mainly related to access arrangements for exams and assessments, updating EHCP's and adapting resources.

This role requires someone who is compassionate, caring, empathetic, and has the required skills below to enable students to access the curriculum. You should be a team player who wants to make a real difference to our drive to continue to raise standards across the Academy.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
• Providing small group or one-to-one support; general classroom support;
• The induction of new students into the curriculum to meet the needs of these newly arrived students - particularly supporting their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs;
• Supporting with EHCP and other related SEND/SEMH administration and access arrangements;
• Developing resources for example for visually impaired students and liaising with teaching staff and the SENDCo in the development and delivery of a differentiated curriculum to meet the needs of SEND students;

£24,877 - £30,451 per annum (dependent on experience)
