Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs Support

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs in a resource base provision within a Primary School. This is a Full-Time role starting soon and will continue for the rest of the academic year. Location: Walsall. Position: SEN TA - 1:1 / Group Support. Type of work: SEN Teaching Assistant - Supporting children with complex needs. Start date: Soon. Duration/Likely Duration: Long term opportunity for the rest of the academic year. End date (if applicable): Academic Year End. Contract type: Temporary. Full time/part time: Full-time, Wednesday to Friday. Minimum rate of pay: £86.40 per day (full-day rate). Hours: 8:20 am - 4pm (full day).

The school is an OFSTED rated Good mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. They are looking for staff who can develop good relationships with children with additional needs.

About You

You will need:

  • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous experience working in a UK school, either permanent or long-term roles
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Requirements
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years
