Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Market Analyst to lead projects delivering energy market models and implement our PLEXOS software. As a key member of our EMEA Solutions team, you'll work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop innovative modelling approaches to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops to understand customer desired outcomes
  • Design innovative modelling approaches using PLEXOS software to deliver upon customer needs
  • Provide guidance on industry best practices and modelling
  • Help customers analyze models and understand outcomes
  • Perform model calibration to align model outcomes with historical benchmarks
  • Develop test plans and implement various test cases
  • Provide training on the use of PLEXOS modelling software
Requirements
  • Knowledge of electricity markets, power trading, or electrical systems planning and operations
  • Experience in energy market supply and demand modelling via optimization/unit commitment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal presence and skills
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
