Job Advert

Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team in Wingerworth, Chesterfield, to provide care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in their lives by assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting individuals with personal care tasks
  • Encouraging independence and promoting self-advocacy
  • Building meaningful relationships and providing emotional support
  • Assisting with daily activities, such as meal preparation and household chores

Requirements:

  • Passion for supporting others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities

This role requires you to be a driver.

Contract options: Part-time hours

Shift times: Various shifts - Flexibility required
