We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our adult substance use service in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Our team collaborates with individuals affected by alcohol and other drugs to drive positive change and save lives. We combine evidence-based expertise in harm reduction, treatment, and recovery with innovative approaches, actively involving those we help in improving our services.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, or Paramedic with current registration and experience working with individuals who use alcohol and other drugs. A non-medical prescribing qualification or willingness to pursue it is essential, along with in-depth knowledge of the issues affecting people who use substances.
If you are knowledgeable about harm reduction, treatment, and recovery principles, as well as ITEP and NICE guidance on detoxification and stabilisation protocols, and can demonstrate the skills necessary to provide safe, evidence-informed, and user-focused care, you will thrive in this role.
