Financial Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced Pension Administrator to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK in Newcastle, UK. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Defined Benefit pension schemes and MS Office products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Management: Update relevant pension administration databases and systems.
- Query Handling: Handle both Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) queries.
- Customer Service: Receive and handle internal and external telephone queries.
- Benefits Calculations: Perform manual benefits calculations.
- Administrative Support: Amend and develop non-financial work e.g. change of address.
- Project Assistance: Assist the team with project-related work e.g. bulk mailshots to scheme members.
- Time Recording: Ensure accurate updating of time recording system (Virtual Office) for both chargeable and non-chargeable activities and meet required utilisation targets.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and planning skills, be able to see projects/tasks through to completion within given timescales, and have a flexible approach to work.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
