About the Role

This permanent PAYE contract offers a competitive daily rate of £96-105, making it an attractive option for recent graduates or experienced professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in special educational needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Supporting Students with Autism: Provide individualized support to students with autism and other special educational needs within the classroom, fostering a nurturing environment that enables each child to achieve their full potential.
  2. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the SENDCo, teachers, and other staff to ensure tailored and effective student support, promoting strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach.
  3. Individualized Support Plans: Assist in creating structured schedules and personalized work systems, following the class teacher's direction, to help students access the curriculum and engage in learning.
  4. Nurturing Environment: Contribute to establishing a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, enabling students to flourish and develop resilience and personal growth.

Requirements

  • A minimum 2:1 Psychology degree from a recognized UK university
  • Enthusiasm, compassion, and commitment to supporting children with special educational needs, particularly autism
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to provide collaborative, individualized support
