About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Night Nurse Team Leader to join our team at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Expertise: Our ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise, with a strong ability to assess patients' physical, mental, and psychological status.
  • Patient Care Planning: They will plan, evaluate, and supervise care for all patients, ensuring effective collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Leadership Skills: The successful candidate will consistently model effective interpersonal and leadership skills, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Operational Support: They will assist the manager with daily operations, ensuring the smooth running of the unit.
  • Interpersonal Collaboration: Our Night Nurse Team Leader will collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and communication.
  • Performance Assessment: They will participate in assessing staff performance, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Regulatory Compliance: The Night Nurse Team Leader will ensure the unit and staff are compliant with regulatory requirements, upholding the highest standards of patient care.

Important Requirements:

All staff must be vaccinated against influenza (flu) and COVID-19 as a condition of employment.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, dependent on experience, to attract and retain top talent in the nursing profession.
