About the Role

Architecture Social is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director to support the business development of its established Commercial team. The practice is renowned for its work on bespoke projects, including high-end luxury residential, mixed-use, and hotel projects.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful team working predominantly on UK-based projects, focusing on new build offices working with large developers in London and the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow the practice's presence in the commercial offices sector.
  • Lead and manage the commercial team, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with design teams on pitches and proposals.
  • Represent the practice at industry events and drive networking efforts.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years post-qualification experience, with a proven track record in business development within architecture or construction.
  • Experience leading and managing teams with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong strategic vision with the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
  • A well-established network of contacts in the UK commercial property market.
  • The right to live and work in the UK.
