Purchasing Manager Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at Morgan Gray. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior buyer looking for a new challenge or an experienced purchasing manager seeking career progression.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in purchasing/supply chain management and a proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost savings initiatives.

Job Description:

  • Lead Purchasing Team: Manage and lead a team of purchasing professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Implement Process Improvements: Develop and implement effective purchasing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Build Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Reduce Costs: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management: We require a degree in supply chain management or a related field such as business administration or logistics.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing/supply chain management is essential.
  • Certifications: A CIPS qualification or formal supply chain certification is highly desirable.
  • System Experience: Experience with ERP/MRP systems is required.

  • Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
