About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in shaping our international strategy on cryptoasset policy issues and working closely with colleagues across the FCA to ensure a coordinated and considered approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the FCA's international strategy on cryptoasset policy issues
  • Coordinate with relevant teams within the FCA to maintain and influence key international relationships with counterparts from global standard setting bodies, and other overseas regulators
  • Develop and deliver creative strategy and engagement plans on priority topics, working closely with colleagues across the FCA to ensure a coordinated and considered approach
  • Provide advice and support to senior colleagues in the FCA
  • Engage with industry stakeholders and conduct horizon scanning

Requirements
  • Prior experience of the international financial regulatory agenda gained through practical experience / experience working on financial services policy issues
  • Prior experience of advising and influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Prior analytical experience of evaluating complex information at pace
