About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our administration team in the Rheumatology Department at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

As an Administrative Support Officer, you will provide essential clerical support to the team, contributing to the efficient and effective running of the department.

Main Responsibilities

Key duties will include providing a friendly and welcoming first point of contact to patients and healthcare professionals, dealing with telephone calls and emails, and using information systems effectively to maintain accurate records.

You will also support other administrative staff with the organisation of clinics and appointments, and provide other administrative duties as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

You will also need to have experience working in a busy office environment and be proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
