Procurement and Facilities Manager

Michael Page (UK) is a leading recruitment agency providing insurance products and dealer warranties to vehicle manufacturers and retailers across the UK.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Facilities Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and service providers, monitoring supplier performance, and developing effective procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of company departments.
  2. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  3. Manage the end-to-end procurement process from sourcing to contract execution.
  4. Ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
  5. Manage office operations and facilities, including health and safety compliance.
  6. Oversee space planning, office layout changes, and relocations.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and facilities management.
  2. Proven experience in supplier management, contract management, and budget management in the motor industry.
  3. Demonstrated ability to manage office operations and facilities.
  4. Experience in managing a small team or line management.
  5. Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and agreements.
