">About the Job"As a Care and Development Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities in our 24-hour supported living facility. Your primary responsibility will be to promote independence, develop life skills, and ensure residents' safety and well-being."You will work closely with colleagues to create bespoke support plans tailored to each individual's needs."In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £20,000-£23,000 per annum (dependent on experience) and access to comprehensive benefits, including 29 days paid holiday, pension scheme, and training opportunities.">"Key Responsibilities"• Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with colleagues and supervisors"• Assist residents with personal care needs, medication management, and manual handling"• Facilitate daily activities, such as cleaning, cooking, and arranging outings"• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service monitoring requirements"• Work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins and waking nights, with occasional weekend cover""Requirements"• Compassionate and empathetic towards individuals with learning disabilities"• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills"• Ability to work independently and as part of a team"• Manual handling and physical demands required for this role"• Valid driver's license preferred but not essential""What We Offer"At Turning Point, we prioritize your career development and provide opportunities for growth and recognition.
