We are currently recruiting for a Senior Social Worker to join our Adult Review & Support Team in Hull. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading by example, delivering high-quality services, and contributing to the ongoing development of the team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments, determine eligibility, and assess risk to ensure individuals receive the best possible care and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, other agencies, and vulnerable adults and families to deliver focused and purposeful social work.
  • Participate in team meetings, practice forums, and other relevant meetings to ensure effective decision-making and case management.
  • Engage in professional development, attend practice development groups, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and regulations.
  • Represent the team in court as required and provide expert testimony to support complex cases.
  • Offer guidance, advice, and co-working support to staff members within the team.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, providing day-to-day supervision and coaching.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification and have a strong understanding of adult social care principles and practices.
