About the Role:

As a Night Support Worker with CareTech UK, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Our state-of-the-art residential home in Dewsbury has an excellent reputation with local authorities and is rated Good in all areas by OFSTED.

We are seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team and contribute to creating a nurturing environment that promotes the well-being and growth of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care and support to residents with varying needs and abilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment

• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

• Collaborate with the care team to create and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident

Requirements:

• Level 3 Children’s and Young People qualification (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential

• Experience working in a residential childcare environment is preferred but not essential

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive is required

• Ability to work unsociable hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
