About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Nights Support Worker to join our team in Dewsbury. As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to our young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Support our young people with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and facilitate social interaction, leisure activities, and educational programs.
  • Monitor and report any changes in our young people's behavior, health, or well-being.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Level 3 Children's and Young People's Award or equivalent.
  • Ability to work unsociable hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Driver's license (company vehicle provided).
