Gleeson Recruitment Group seeks a skilled Finance Assistant/Payroll professional

Location: Birmingham - Hybrid
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise will directly impact the seamless delivery of payroll to global employees and contractors.

  • International Payroll Management: Oversee and coordinate monthly payroll cycles, ensuring timely and accurate payment for foreign employees and independent contractors.
  • Data Validation: Download and validate payroll data from CSV files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with global payroll providers, ensuring all changes are processed correctly and on time.
  • Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure payroll payments, taxes, and benefits are calculated and reported accurately, maintaining compliance with local regulations.
  • Finance Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Reconciliation: Capture payroll data through journal entries and reconcile related balance sheet accounts.
  • Reporting and Invoicing: Review payroll reports for discrepancies, reconcile pay data, and raise client invoices using payroll journals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze gross profit (GP) figures, ensuring margins meet expectations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in international payroll management.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and data reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance across various countries is a strong advantage.
  • Accounts payable experience would benefit.
