About the RoleIn this role as Payroll Assistant, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with payroll administration and processing within the team to provide a first-class payroll bureau service to clients.
- You will manage day-to-day payroll tasks including RTI submissions, end of year forms P60, and manual calculations such as pro rata salary calculations and salary sacrifice schemes.
- Using payroll software efficiently, you will perform import/export functions, report writing, and ensure accurate data entry.
- Your responsibilities will also include applying knowledge of statutory payments, pension schemes, including AE process and pension uploads to providers' websites.
- You will develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts at all levels.
We are seeking a keen individual with an interest in pursuing a career within payroll who possesses some experience in payroll or finance. Good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Excel, are essential, along with strong attention to detail and high accuracy in prior roles.
A self-starter able to organise and prioritise workload, you will thrive in our dynamic environment where teamwork and agility are key.
