Waste Management Technician

We are looking for a Waste Management Technician to join our team in the Wargrave area. In this role, you will be working in a multi-discipline team and will be responsible for carrying out scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance work on all electrical equipment in compliance with company procedures to minimize plant breakdown.

Job Description:
  • Investigate plant failures and carry out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid interruptions to the process.
  • You will be expected to provide technical advice, referring to up-to-date technical knowledge, and provide training or support for technical trainees if required.
Key Skills:
  • A strong understanding of electrical systems and previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent is necessary.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, with a focus on waste management and environmental impact, is desirable.
  • A valid driving license is essential, and all necessary equipment, such as vehicles and tools, are provided.

The estimated salary for this position is £38,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience, with potential for overtime payments increasing earnings by up to £8,000-£10,000 per annum upon completion of essential company training.
