Are you a motivated individual with a passion for environmental services? We are seeking a skilled Waste Collection Specialist to join our team in Surrey and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting residential solid wastes, including recycling, garbage, and organics, as part of our full-time waste management operations.

About the Position

This is a routine manual job that requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and physical stamina to perform duties in all weather conditions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of solid waste materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading collection vehicles at a fast pace while considering road/site conditions
  • Reporting to drivers any issues involving customer, route, and collection issues throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This position offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for career growth and development.

Estimated Salary: $24-$31 per hour (depending on experience)

Requirements
  • Fluent English skills, both written and verbal
  • No previous back/knee/shoulder injuries
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and willing to complete scheduled routes
