Neurodiversity Project Officer

Main Purpose of the Job
The NBI Partnership is committed to promoting a positive research culture and providing an inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes equality. As part of this commitment, we are seeking a Neurodiversity Project Officer to implement, deliver, monitor, and report on a BBSRC-funded 'Connecting Culture Project'. This project aims to foster cross-institutional activities and sharing of best practice to increase awareness around neurodiversity and celebrate its value.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management of a collaborative neurodiversity project, including budget management and organisation of events.
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of neurodiversity training programmes, including online modules and in-person workshops.
- Foster collaboration and sharing of best practices across BBSRC institutes through the establishment and maintenance of networks.
- Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and produce a report on the outcome for BBSRC.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who is passionate about EDI, research culture, and our science, with a strong understanding of neurodiversity and its impact in the workplace. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, preferably in EDI or related initiatives, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
