Job Description

Main Purpose of the Job

The NBI Partnership is committed to promoting a positive research culture and providing an inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes equality. As part of this commitment, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Neurodiversity Project.

This role will be responsible for implementing, delivering, monitoring, and reporting on a project aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of neurodiversity within our research community. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of EDI principles and practices, as well as experience in project management, training delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management of the Neurodiversity Project, including budget management and coordination of events and activities.
  • Development and delivery of training programs and workshops to promote understanding and awareness of neurodiversity.
  • Establishment and maintenance of networks and partnerships to share best practices and promote collaboration.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of project progress, including the development of key metrics to assess and measure success.
  • Reporting on project outcomes and recommendations for future initiatives.

Person Specification

  • Strong understanding of EDI principles and practices.
  • Experience in project management, training delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
