Main Purpose of the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive environment for neurodiverse staff and students. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, delivering, monitoring, and reporting on a BBSRC-funded project aimed at increasing awareness and promoting neurodiversity in the research community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management of a collaborative neurodiversity project, including budget management and organisation of events.
  • Development and delivery of neurodiversity training programmes, including online modules and in-person workshops.
  • Fostering collaboration and sharing of best practices across BBSRC institutes through the establishment and maintenance of networks.
  • Monitoring project progress, evaluating outcomes, and producing reports for BBSRC.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly organised and experienced individual with a strong understanding of EDI and its impact in the workplace. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional qualification and experience in project management, preferably in EDI or related initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of neurodiversity and its importance in the workplace.

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work outside standard working hours when necessary.
