Reception Shift Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Shift Lead to join our dynamic team at Morris House Group Practice. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.
Main Responsibilities- Provide supervision and guidance to the reception and administration team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and high-quality patient care.
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients and staff, resolving queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the Practice Manager and Operations Manager in implementing practice procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the team through positive role-modeling and example, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the reception team is equipped to handle patient queries and issues efficiently, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all patients.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Develop and implement processes to improve patient flow, reducing waiting times and enhancing the overall patient experience.
- Provide training and support to new and existing staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- High level of numeracy and literacy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, with knowledge of internal General Practice processes and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of EMIS and other practice management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
- Strong organizational and logistical skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
