Reception Shift Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reception Shift Lead to join our dynamic team at Morris House Group Practice. As a key member of our front-line team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our reception services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide supervision and guidance to the reception and administration team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients and staff, resolving queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the Practice Manager and Operations Manager in implementing practice procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the team in achieving high-quality patient care and service delivery, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, staff, and external partners, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
- Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of patient data, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection protocols.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of practice policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- High level of numeracy and literacy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience of working in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of practice procedures and policies.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of EMIS and other practice systems, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide training to staff.
