**About the Role**

We are currently seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our catering department.

">Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising catering staff, managing food production, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

You will work closely with our kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared and served efficiently, and that our patients receive the best possible dining experience.

">Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of catering staff, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and deadlines are met.
  2. Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to ensure efficient and safe food production, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  3. Plan and implement meal schedules, and ensure that all meals are delivered on time.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports, and provide regular updates to management.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and has excellent leadership and communication skills.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
