We are seeking a dedicated Community Care Specialist to provide high-quality care to individuals in Chesterfield, Claycross, Matlock, and surrounding areas.

About the Role:
  • Assist with personal care, including washing, bathing, and toilet arrangements.
  • Help individuals overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities.
  • Perform domestic tasks such as making beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes.
  • Support with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks, and drinks.
  • Contribute to end-of-life care as needed.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for this role. No prior experience is necessary, but you must demonstrate empathy, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Personal Care: Assist with daily living tasks, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
  2. Domestic Support: Perform household tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  3. Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in activities with service users.
  4. Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with colleagues, managers, and service users.
  5. Care Planning: Contribute to individualized care plans and adapt to changing needs.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience working in care settings (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach
  • Valid DBS check
