Since the 1850s, the hotel has excelled in providing glamourous design, inspiring dining, and impeccable service. As an Events & Groups Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing event planning, coordination, and execution.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual to manage events from inquiry to final billing. Your primary responsibility will be to handle reactive sales enquiries, coordinate event planning, and liaise with suppliers and internal departments. If you have experience working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling reactive sales enquiries for groups and event spaces
  • Fully planning, coordinating, and executing events from inquiry to final billing
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
  • Coordinating group activities with corporate Sales, reservations, and front office teams
  • Supporting the Director of Events and Groups when necessary
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Luxury 5-star experience within a similar role
  • Experience of total account management of events, both social and corporate, ideally within a fast-paced hotel environment
  • Ability to deal with challenging guests with high expectations
  • Demonstrate ability to take a proactive approach to problem-solving and challenges
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent spoken and written English is essential
