About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect to join our Digital Payload Hardware team in Stevenage. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and integrating software solutions for testing cutting-edge digital communication payload equipment used in telecommunication satellite systems.

As part of a world-leading team, you will contribute to the development of advanced digital payloads that drive the global telecommunications satellite industry. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of our innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and architect software designs tailored to meet the complex testing needs of our electronics and PCBs.
  • Lead a team of software engineers in developing fully defined software modules that support comprehensive test cases.
  • Integrate test solutions, encompassing all necessary hardware and software components, for the control and testing of Digital Payload equipment.
  • Ensure the software architecture effectively addresses all identified scenarios, including procedures, test scripts, results analysis, and reporting.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration throughout the development lifecycle.
