Spar Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our award-winning Newark SPAR store to continued success and growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive and empowering work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and stock control.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Sales and Performance: Set and achieve sales targets, actively driving initiatives to increase revenue and profitability.
- Community Involvement: Actively participate in local community events and initiatives to strengthen the store's ties with the community.
- Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of success in achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and the local community.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive business performance.
- Salary of £28,000 + bonus potential of up to £7,800.
