Spar Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our Spar store in Newark. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of store standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage store operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, and cash handling
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and increase customer loyalty
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs and inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety and data protection
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Store Manager in a retail environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
