Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiographer to join our team as a Radiography Team Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic environment, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of radiography services, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that imaging procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively. This will involve working closely with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and other radiographers.

The Radiography Team Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order. Additionally, they will be expected to participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new procedures and protocols.

Requirements
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • DCR/BSc in Radiography or a related field
  • Good general education and communication skills
  • Experience in general radiographic and theatre procedures within the NHS
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and relevant policies and procedures
