About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our team at Capita. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for managing multiple mechanically biased contracts, including air conditioning, swimming pool plants, and gas boiler systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contractor adherence to work schedules and report submission deadlines
  • Monitor safe working and competence of supplier staff
  • Assist with the procurement process and update technical specifications
  • Undertake supplier staff audits to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Operate a bespoke asset management system to track contractor performance

Requirements:

  • Experience of facilities management in a large multi-site environment
  • Knowledge of property statutory compliance regulations
  • Professional qualification in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Valid driving licence with access to own vehicle
