Job Description

At AtkinsClarke, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Finance Director to lead our financial operations and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement reliable financial systems and processes to support long-term growth, lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic reviews, and provide regular financial analysis and insights to the senior leadership team.
  • Financial Reporting and Risk Management: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, and conduct weekly, monthly, and annual financial reviews, making strategic recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high-quality work, lead the finance team in achieving key KPIs, such as managing aged debtors, controlling costs, and meeting long-term financial goals.
  • Business Partnership: Work closely with the senior management team, providing financial insights to support business decisions, balance risk and opportunities, ensuring that financial objectives are aligned with the company's strategic vision.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Leader or in a similar role, ideally within the IT, Telecoms, MSP, or Security sectors.
  • A deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and regulations in the UK.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while delivering strong financial results.
