About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Store Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the store, including leading a team of colleagues, managing the store's finances, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Manage the store's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs
  • Ensure the store is run efficiently and effectively, including managing stock levels, inventory, and logistics
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Marketing, to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or a similar industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
