Social Work Team Lead Position

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Social Work Team Lead to fill this challenging yet rewarding role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, particularly in safeguarding, and be able to provide expert guidance and support to colleagues.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will manage a complex case load, working closely with teams and individuals to achieve positive outcomes. They will provide mentoring, coaching, and co-working of cases with practitioners within the safeguarding service, maintaining high standards of professionalism and expertise in safeguarding practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategies and policies in collaboration with senior staff members.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practice in safeguarding and social work.
- Support the development of junior staff members, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Social Work England registration.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Holding a full UK driving license.
- Post-qualified experience in social work, particularly in safeguarding.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent in Social Work.
