Children & Families Service Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children & Families Service Manager to lead our Children & Families team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our residents, and working closely with other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work with us on a temporary contract basis for at least 3 months. We offer a competitive salary of £35,755 - £43,857 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our residents
  2. Ensure the safety and well-being of children through effective child protection assessments and care planning
  3. Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, police officers, and healthcare professionals, to share knowledge and best practice
  4. Manage the delivery of services, ensuring timely and effective interventions
  5. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key achievements and challenges

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • CURRENT DBS clearance
  • Full driving licence
