Asset Compliance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Asset Compliance Operative to contribute to the success of Greatwell Homes.
As a key member of the Health, Safety & Compliance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of customer-focused services, maximizing opportunities to achieve improved value for money and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and services of assets related to compliance.
- Monthly testing of emergency lighting.
- Weekly testing of alarm systems.
- Fire Door inspection, testing, and small remedial works.
- Water temperature checks, flushing, and descales.
- PAT testing of appliances (training to be provided).
- Health and safety signage inspections and installations.
- Health & Safety and Compliance inspections.
- Weekly inspections of playground equipment.
- Accompany colleagues and third parties as required.
- Small remedial repairs as and when required.
- Ensure compliance with all internal control requirements, policies, and procedures, including health and safety, safe systems of work, and job essential learning.
- Keep up to date with legislation, regulations, and good practice associated with the role, make recommendations to ensure compliance, and contribute to the development of operational and strategic planning.
About You:
- Basic carpentry/property maintenance skills.
- Experience in working within social housing.
- Knowledge of building compliance functions.
- Experience of assisting a team to deliver targets within a timescale.
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety legislation relating to property maintenance.
- Reasonable level of fitness and ability to physically manage materials, equipment, ladders, etc.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
