As a Mechanical Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking routine and complex repairs to machines at depot to ensure conformance with manufactures specification and company policy. You will work closely with the depot team to ensure that machines under repair KPIs are maintained at manageable levels.
Key Responsibilities- SUPPORT THE WORKSHOP SERVICE MANAGER IN THE EFFECTIVE RUNNING OF THE DEPOT WORKSHOP
- Undertake routine and complex repairs to machines at depot to ensure conformance with manufactures specification and company policy
- Work with the depot team to ensure the quantity and amount of time machines are under repair is kept low as possible, in line with depot KPIs
- Accurately complete all relevant paperwork, using Company's engineering system/application
- Update system on machine status change i.e. PDI/PHI carried out, Machine under repair, 6 monthly statutory Inspection completed, etc.
- Be an ambassador for and ensure compliance of Quality, Health & Safety standards, and policies
- IPAF Operator Licence
- Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Experience of completing complex engineering repairs
- Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics and diagnostics fault finding
