Strategic Financial Asset Manager

Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing global ownership and accurate accounting of all intangible and tangible assets across the group. This involves ensuring alignment with the Group Accounting Manual and applicable standards. Additionally, they will collaborate with finance and IT teams to review intangible projects, conduct post-go-live reviews, and maintain accurate and complete asset registers.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee global ownership and accurate accounting of all intangible and tangible assets across the group
- Collaborate with Camden Finance and IT teams to review intangible projects and conduct post-go-live reviews
- Maintain accurate and complete asset registers through the global annual asset verification project
- Ensure proper capitalisation of items posted to the general ledger and assist with monthly intercompany reconciliations
- Maintain group ledgers in compliance with group and local statutory requirements
- Coordinate with regional peers to ensure ledger accuracy and timely completion of period-end deadlines for all entities
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Working experience in a similar role within a Finance Department, with strong communication skills
- Microsoft Dynamics (D365), retail, multi-currency, multi-site, foreign language skills, and experience of working with subsidiaries located overseas are highly desirable
- A good understanding of business structure and the importance of accuracy of nominal ledger postings
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
