About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Lanyon Stroke Rehabilitation Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to adults following a stroke.

The successful candidate will have specialist knowledge and skills in both stroke and older adults, combined with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be responsible for working as a Stroke Specialist Speech and Language Therapist within our unit, sharing the outcome of communication assessments and providing guidance on required adaptations to ensure individuals receive correct support.

Key responsibilities include participating in the planning, development, and evaluation of high-quality Speech and Language Therapy services for adults following stroke. Additionally, you will support and mentor rehabilitation support workers on Lanyon ward.

This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to work in a Stroke Rehabilitation Unit in the West of Cornwall.
