Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR professional to join our organization as a Human Resources Strategist. As a key member of the Astera team, you will contribute to developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our growth and evolving needs.

The successful candidate will oversee recruitment processes to attract top talent, focusing on retention, succession planning, and professional development. You will collaborate with leaders to support workforce planning efforts, ensuring departments have the right talent and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Strategy Support: Develop and implement HR strategies that drive business growth and improvement.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Oversee recruitment processes, including attraction, selection, and onboarding of top talent.
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with leaders to support workforce planning efforts, ensuring departments have the right talent and resources.
  • Employee Engagement: Implement engagement initiatives promoting a positive and inclusive culture, driving employee satisfaction and motivation.
  • Performance Management: Assist in developing and executing performance management processes, including coaching and development support.
  • HR Operations: Oversee daily HR activities such as employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, ensuring smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; CIPD Level 5 or above preferred.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including exposure to strategic HR initiatives and hands-on HR operations.
  • Proven ability to support HR strategies within growing organizations, ideally with some experience in start-up or fast-paced settings.
  • Solid knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and UK employment law.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues across departments.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and basic data analysis.
