We are working closely with a prominent engineering and manufacturing company to recruit a Production Optimisation Lead. This exciting opportunity is based in Tamworth and offers a challenging role that involves heading up the design and integration of a brand-new assembly line for containerised modules.

The role of the Production Optimisation Lead involves designing automated and manual assembly systems, conducting takt time analysis, creating factory layouts, and overseeing process commissioning and validation. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent experience designing assembly lines to optimise production
  • Industry experience in Automotive, Food, White goods, HVAC, or similar sectors
  • Familiarity with core tools, CAD skills, and ideally AutoCAD/Inventor
  • Factory simulation knowledge is desirable

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include:
