Are you a skilled Welder looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited.

About the Role

We are a leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions business in the UK, committed to creating a more sustainable built environment. As our Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for undertaking plant welding, repairs, and improvements to ensure maximum reliability of all plant-associated areas across the quarrying production.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Welding and fabrication of heavy materials such as steel and alloys.
  • Responding to plant breakdowns, repairing equipment efficiently, and minimizing downtime while adhering to safety standards.
  • Improving plant performance, maintaining safety, and asset reliability.

You will also contribute to the development of our Computer Maintenance Management System and utilize documents to maintain policies and procedures for safe and efficient maintenance of equipment.

Please note that there may be additional overtime available to meet site production needs and support ongoing development and growth.

Requirements

  • Essential experience in welding/fabricating.
  • Level 3 Apprentice training or ONC/NVQ Level 3 in a related discipline would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of technical drawings and specifications, fabrication to tolerances from drawings.
